Job Description
LIMELIGHT is looking for an experienced Digital Strategist to support a portfolio of technology, legal, financial services and professional services client teams in the development and execution of growth communications initiatives. An ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of relevant experience in a marketing or media relations role ideally in an “outside” agency setting. Candidates must have the proven ability to identify opportunities to optimize a client’s digital presence and present lead-generation concepts to the greater team. This is a position with long-term growth potential and is a great opportunity for someone with solid marketing and growth communications skills who is looking to take on an active role in running day-to-day account operations.
The ideal candidate is responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and optimization of online marketing efforts for our clients. The role involves working closely with the digital marketing team to implement strategies that drive traffic, engagement, and conversions across various digital channels.
Roles + Responsibilities
- Campaign Execution: Assist in the setup and execution of digital marketing campaigns across various platforms, including social media, search engines, email, and display advertising.
- Content Creation: Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging content for digital channels, including social media posts, blog articles, email newsletters, and website copy.
- SEO & SEM: Support SEO and SEM efforts by conducting keyword research, optimizing website content, and monitoring search engine rankings.
- Social Media Management: Help manage client social media accounts, including content scheduling, community engagement, and performance tracking.
- Data Analysis: Monitor and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and other analytics platforms. Provide insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Email Marketing: Assist in the creation and distribution of email campaigns, including list management, segmentation, and A/B testing.
- PPC Campaigns: Support the management of pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads and social media. Monitor ad performance and assist in optimizing for better results.
- Client Reporting: Prepare regular reports for clients, highlighting key metrics, campaign performance, and actionable insights.
- Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitive landscape, and audience preferences to inform digital marketing strategies.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the digital marketing team, including coordinating meetings, managing project timelines, and maintaining marketing materials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably within an agency setting.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Hootsuite, Mailchimp, WordPress and marketing across all social media platforms.
- Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and creativity.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email and web editing.
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Certifications in Google Analytics, Google Ads, or similar platforms.
