Kenneth A. Gary, J.D.
Founding Partner
Trained as both a lawyer and journalist, Kenny is nationally recognized as a top revenue and results-driven strategic marketing, communications, business development and sales advisor in the legal and financial services industries. He brings decades of experience providing professional, legal and financial service providers sage marketing, communications, and business development counsel.
Kenny comes steeped with experience in repositioning technology, innovation and professional service organizations within regulated industries. Early on in his career, Kenny’s course was defined by his work at PowellTate (now a Weber Shandwick company) amidst the political and legal environments Fortune 500 and foreign nations were his clients. There, he learned that to best pursue his career he wanted to attend law school, work inside several government agencies and become a legal journalist, which he did.
For nearly a decade, Kenny a oversaw legal media business operations at ALM across events, marketing and media publications, including The American Lawyer, The National Law Journal, Corporate Counsel Magazine, Legaltech News, The New York Law Journal and Law.com to name a few. As a publisher, Kenny gained a unique and arguably unrivaled holistic perspective of the entire legal industry and has since served in a variety of capacities to help those law firms and the companies that support them grow and find the limelight.
Most recently, Kenny has served in leadership capacities at leading communications powerhouse agencies including Baretz+Brunelle and most recently as chief growth officer at Infinite Global. He also serves as a business advisor for several upstart companies in the legal and communications space.
Kenny earned a law degree from American University, Washington College of Law and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado. Kenny currently serves as the co-chair of the PR SIG nationwide for the Legal Marketing Association. Kenny was raised in Washington, D.C. amidst a family of lawyers and now lives in New York. When he’s not working a room, Kenny can be found skiing, hiking, playing tennis or most likely shaking his bones at a live music venue near you.
Erin Harrison
Founding Partner
Erin helps clients establish a solid market presence and differentiate their market positioning through novel PR/comms strategies and tactics aligned to client business goals. Erin has deep domain expertise within legal services, legal tech and B2B technology. With a digital-first mindset, she is a passionate storyteller who works collaboratively to build mindshare and elevate brand awareness through integrated marketing strategies.
Erin runs all programs for legal technology companies, including her agency work as an SVP at Bliss Group and NextTech Communications, managing director at Plat4orm and Baretz+Brunelle. She has worked with legal clients such as Freshfields, LexisNexis, FTI Consulting, Casetext, Factor, Casepoint and Exterro, as well as fintech and regtech companies including FIDO Alliance, Supply Wisdom, authID, Riskified, and others.
As an accomplished legal journalist, Erin served as editor-in-chief of ALM’s Legaltech News and InsideCounsel publications. She was also instrumental in the launch and growth of the Women, Influence Power and Law (WIPL) network. She is co-author of the Blickstein Group’s Legal AI Efficacy Report, the industry’s first comprehensive review of AI-powered technologies. Erin earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Sacred Heart University. When she’s not behind a keyboard, Erin is a busy mom to her teenage daughter and can be found cooking at home, reading on the beach, practicing Pilates, or playing with her two crazy labs.
Meg McEvoy
Senior Director, Growth Communications
Meg helps LIMELIGHT’s clients drive their businesses forward through content-driven strategies and resonant storytelling.
Meg is a former legal reporter, editor and analyst at Bloomberg Law, where she covered a range of legal topics, from privacy to healthcare to antitrust. As a legal markets analyst at BLAW, Meg wrote data-driven pieces on the legal industry, business of law and legal technology and co-hosted a podcast on the future of legal. Meg has also been a solo marketer/marketing director for two legal technology startups and was an account director at NextTech Communications/The Bliss Group, a NYC-based PR firm, focusing on clients in legal, fintech and other highly regulated industries.
Meg’s approach to legal and tech growth is grounded in content, data and thought leadership. She is also a strong marketing and content strategist with experience across digital, social, partnerships, events, growth marketing, product marketing, surveys/research & brand development. She is Hubspot SEO certified.
When she’s not working, you can find Meg in her garden, poring over design magazines, or mostly fruitlessly trying to teach her little ones to “play gently” on the piano.
Meg formerly practiced as a commercial real estate attorney in Northern Virginia. She holds a B.A. in English from the University of Virginia and a J.D. from William & Mary Law School.
Emily Bricker
Growth Communications Manager
Emily is an expert communications and public relations strategist. Trained as a journalist, she is adept at working with client accounts to build public messaging and maintain brand recognition and a consistent and unique identity. Emily has a proven track record of securing earned media placements and cultivating relationships with top tier outlets.
During her time at a boutique public relations agency that specializes in developing commercial real estate and luxury senior living, she played in instrumental role in Silverstone Senior Living’s campaign intended to reposition public opinion on senior living. She developed and executed comprehensive public relations strategies to refine senior living and demonstrate how seniors can age actively and healthily while living a life of luxury. Emily has worked with other clients in the developing commercial real estate world including Watermark Retirement Communities, Greystone Communities, Snell Properties, Land Design Consultants (LDC), and others.
Emily earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications from The George Washington University and a master’s degree in Journalism from Georgetown University. When she’s not executing PR strategies, you can find her in the gym, coaching The George Washington University’s cheerleading team, or snuggling her foster puppies.
